Data & Security

What SoldierOS is—and is not—ready to hold during the private pilot.

Last updated August 12, 2026

The short version: SoldierOS may hold preferred names, City and ZIP, and high-level administrative readiness-action labels. Keep medical explanations and official records in the authorized Army or medical system.

Approved pilot use

  • Preferred names, City and ZIP for authenticated Soldiers and leader rosters.
  • PHA and medical-readiness action labels: Current, Due soon, Action required, or Not verified.
  • Non-sensitive task names, due dates, and leadership follow-ups.
  • General professional development goals and product feedback.

Readiness colors are navigation aids, not clinical determinations or official readiness records. Verify status in MEDPROS.

Do not enter

  • Classified information or CUI.
  • OPSEC-sensitive plans, locations, movements, capabilities, or vulnerabilities.
  • SSNs, DoD ID numbers, passport or driver's license numbers.
  • Medical records, diagnoses, profiles, behavioral-health or detailed health data.
  • Financial, legal, disciplinary, family, or sensitive personnel information.
  • Passwords, access tokens, keys, or credentials for another system.

Our pilot approach

We are designing around data minimization: collect less, limit access, retain information only as needed, and expand the security program deliberately as the product matures. The public site uses no intentional advertising cookies.

Not an authorization

SoldierOS does not claim an Authority to Operate, FedRAMP authorization, DoD Impact Level authorization, or approval for official government data. A pilot invitation is not such authorization.

Report a concern

Email chris@incendiarymedia.com to report a suspected vulnerability, privacy issue, or accidental submission of prohibited data. Do not include sensitive details in the first email.

Roadmap, not promises

As SoldierOS matures, this page will document specific controls, subprocessors, data locations, retention schedules, incident-response commitments, and independent assurance. We will not claim certifications or authorizations before they are earned.
